Digital Yacht AIT1500N2K Class B AIS transponder with plug 'n play NMEA 2000 interface
Model: ZDIGAIT1500N2KThe AIT1500N2K is a Class B AIS transponder with built in GPS antenna to make installation as easy as possible. The super sensitive design allows below deck mounting on GRP boats such as small yachts, RIBs and center consoles and cuts down on antenna clutter. It connects to your boat’s electronics via a plug ‘n play NMEA 2000 connection and power is also taken from the NMEA 2000 backbone. Simply connect a VHF antenna (or use our SPL2000 AIS-VHF antenna splitter) and you’re equipped with Class B AIS.
Once installed, your AIS compatible plotter will show an overlay of targets and you’ll transmit your position every 30 seconds when underway to other AIS users. There’s also a USB interface for PC/MAC connectivity which can be used for programming the transponder with your boat details.
The AIT1500N2K features a waterproof and tough enclosure with 4 LED indicators to show the status of the transponder.
Where do I start! This man is a genius, I may have ordered a amateurs dream from this man, went all out on garmin products from gpsmap screens to the live scope lv34 and to juice them up I went with all powerhouse batteries and charging units! Well now on the boat I’m staring at this out dated minnkota and it just looked out of place so I went ahead and ordered up the KRAKEN! I can’t stop bragging on how much you have helped me, even face timing me on the water to fine tune my Livescope, there is no big box store that could even come close to offer this level of customer service! This 16 volt battery and Run and Gun Charger is the only way to outfit your boat. Fish all day with no worries. Chad is very knowledgeable and helpful with the everything you need for a great day on the water. Now just waiting for a 36 volt to have the perfect setup. Thanks Chad.
